Prayer from June 20, 2019

 Holy Father, 

Today, I plan to use this morning to write...and this day I give to you...

But Jesus, thank you for the cross, I cannot write that enough.
Thank you, my God, for your plan of redemption for me. 
Thank you for your forgiveness and for your great love.

Jesus, forgive me for my hard heart toward others who need your gospel even as I need it.

My God, thank you that your love is not based on my ability or beauty or talent or net worth or goodness or good deeds or number of friendships or intellect or my health!

Jesus, please forgive me for my pride and vanity and selfish ambition. 
Rather, Jesus, that my talents encourage (just) one (or more) person into a true relationship with you.
That it would give hope and encourage that person to earnestly seek truth.

For, You are the Way, the Truth, and the Life. 

Thank you for the truth of Galatians chapter 5 and Romans chapters 4-6!
