Playing Catch-Up

And the past two weeks have flown by. 

René left with her two kiddos on Monday, so we threw the most hilarious Baby Shower and Despedida (Good-Bye Party) for her and the niñas. She has returned back to the States to have her third baby, who is expected the beginning of April.

And these two LOVED all the balloons.

The students took turns saying good-bye to René.

Needless to say, our team feels smaller without them.

René, Anabel, and Elianna, you are very loved and sorely missed. 

Then, I got that nasty stomach bug again. 

 

We'll move on quickly from this one, but I would appreciate your prayers for my health and the continued health of my team.

I cannot tell you how grateful I am for Berkeley, Shannon, David, Ben, and Nathan, who ran to the store to grab ginger ale, who scratched my back as I was hugging the toilet, who gave me their clean, spare toothbrush, who fixed me Gatorade and ice chips, and who prayed for me.
