Thanksgiving and a little bit of Christmas

Thank you all so much for your prayers of health and healing. I was able to get some medicine last week, and within 12 hours of taking it, noticed a considerable difference. As of right now, I am 100 percent parasite/ bacterial infection free. Praise the Lord, and thank you again for your prayers for me.

Here's a Fun Dominican Fact: You can call up the pharmacy, and they will deliver meds right to your door. Best!

I was also able to fully enjoy our Thanksgiving Feast here, and, let me assure you, it was a feast:

Soaking our veggies in a Chlorox solution to kill the bacteria.
Drying the veggies after the bacteria has died.
The bountiful spread.
My Nonnie's broccoli salad.
Leyla and Prospero brought the most delicious flan.

We were very grateful for good health, sweet friends, and God's provision in our lives.

"It is because of him that you are in Christ Jesus, who has become for us wisdom from God—that is, our righteousness, holiness and redemption." -1 Corinthians 1:30

Here's a second Fun Dominican Fact: Christmas festivities and celebrations began October 1st.

So, the very same evening following Thanksgiving, we decked out our Charlie Brown Christmas Tree, sipped some hot chocolate, and watched The Polar Express. (I may or may not have cried. Man, I love that movie.)

¡Feliz Navidad!

xoxo,

kme
