Updates

Two big changes happening in my life right now:

1. After months of planning and perfecting, my Sister and her Hubs finally got hitched!

She was the most exquisite bride, and I couldn't be happier for my best friend and my new brother-in-law. The LORD was surely rejoicing this past Saturday along with us.

"But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light." -1 Peter 2:9

2. Due to some unforeseen work-visa troubles, I won't be shipping off to my new home in the DR until September 1st (ish).

And as ready as I am to get going, I have to admit, it was a HUGE relief to have more than one week to pack and say a summer's worth of good-byes to friends, family and supporters.

So today, I am thankful for my extra days of rest.
